Seawall and Dock Contractors in Panama City

Seawall and dock contractors in Panama City work a coast that took the most powerful hurricane ever to hit the Florida Panhandle.

Licensed Permits handled Florida waterfront

We connect waterfront homeowners on St. Andrews Bay, St. Joseph Bay and Apalachicola Bay with licensed marine contractors who work those waters.

The inspection is free and you get a written estimate before anyone touches your property.

Michael came ashore at Mexico Beach as a Category 4

Hurricane Michael made landfall at Mexico Beach on 10 October 2018 with maximum sustained winds of 155 mph (the most powerful storm ever to hit the Florida Panhandle) and nearly ten feet of storm surge.

Entire blocks were reduced to concrete slabs in the sand. FEMA’s administrator described Mexico Beach as probably ground zero. Mexico Beach sits between Panama City and Port St. Joe, so this whole stretch is inside the affected corridor and much of the marine infrastructure here has been rebuilt since.

Sally, which hit Pensacola in 2020, is a different storm for a different part of the Panhandle and does not describe what happened here.

Why it matters

Three bays, and one of them is a working oyster bay

St. Andrews Bay at Panama City is a deep working port with commercial traffic and real wake. Grand Lagoon at Panama City Beach is the residential dock and lift market.

St. Joseph Bay at Port St. Joe is quiet and shallow. Apalachicola is different from all of it: a working oyster and fishing town on a river and bay, where the docks are commercial and the requirements follow the industry rather than residential recreation.

A free inspection tells you which one you are looking at.

What a free inspection includes

A contractor comes to your property, looks at the structure above and below the waterline where needed, and tells you what is actually happening.

You get a written scope and estimate. No obligation, no trip fee.

  • On-site assessment of the structure and surrounding soil
  • Photos and a plain-English explanation of the problem
  • Written estimate with scope and materials
  • Repair versus replacement guidance where both are options
