Dock Builders Panama City
Dock builders in Panama City size a dock only as long as needed to reach 4 feet below mean low water or 25 feet, whichever is greater, and never more than 20% of the waterbody’s width (Panama City LDC Sec. 110-4).
We connect Panama City owners with licensed marine contractors who design to it.
Free consultation and a written scope.
Setbacks and slips
Lots with 65 feet or more of shoreline keep 25 feet from riparian lines with an access walkway, or 10 feet without one; smaller lots center the dock. Up to two slips per lot, and the access walk stays within 5 feet wide.
Approvals
A city development order and all other agency permits are required, plus a stamped and sealed survey showing riparian setbacks. Other dock or boat structures need city commission approval.

Why it matters
Where docks are not allowed
Docks are prohibited in the Lake Huntington Channel, and no pier or dock may be built or repaired on the Beach Drive stretch of St. Andrews Bay between the Johnson Bayou Bridge and Frankford Avenue (Sec. 5-1).
