Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Seawall and Dock collects when you ask for a free inspection, why we collect it, and who sees it.
Seawall and Dock is a referral service. We connect waterfront property owners with independent licensed marine contractors and do not perform contracting work ourselves. This policy applies to seawallanddock.com and to the phone number shown on it. It took effect on 17 September 2026.
What the inspection form collects
The form on our contact and service pages asks for your name, phone number, email address, the property address or canal, and a description of what is going on with your seawall, dock or lift. Name, phone, email and the description are required; the property address is optional. The form also records which page you sent it from.
We ask for these things because a contractor cannot quote a marine job without knowing roughly where the property is, what the structure is, and how to reach you. We do not ask for payment details, and we never will through this site.
Submissions are stored in the site’s database on our hosting provider’s servers and emailed to us so we can act on them. We keep them for as long as we need them to make and follow up on the introduction, then delete them on request or when they are no longer needed.
How your inquiry is shared with a contractor
The whole point of the form is to put you in touch with someone who can do the work. When you submit it, we pass your name, contact details, property location and description to one or more independent licensed marine contractors who work your area, so they can contact you to schedule the free inspection and prepare a written estimate.
Those contractors are separate businesses. Once introduced, you deal with them directly, and their handling of your information is governed by their own practices, not by this policy. We verify that a contractor holds an active Florida licence, on the state’s DBPR record, before making an introduction; we do not supervise their work or their record-keeping.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone other than the contractors we introduce you to and the service providers listed below.
Phone calls and call recording
The phone number on this site is a tracking number provided by CallRail. Calls to it may be recorded for quality and to make sure your request is handled correctly. Florida law requires the consent of everyone on a call before it is recorded (Florida Statutes section 934.03), so you will hear a notice at the start of the call telling you it may be recorded. If you do not want to be recorded, hang up and use the form or email us instead.
CallRail also records the number you called from, the time and length of the call, and which page or search brought you to the site. We use this to know which pages generate calls and to return missed calls.
If we pass your call details to a contractor, it is for the same purpose as a form submission: so they can contact you about the inspection.
Service providers we rely on
A small number of third parties process information on our behalf so the site and phone line work:
- CallRail provides the tracking phone number, call recording and the script that swaps the number shown on the page.
- Hostinger hosts the website and its database, and delivers the email notifications the form sends us.
- Google provides Search Console, which reports how the site appears in Google search and does not identify individual visitors, and reCAPTCHA, which runs on the inquiry form to filter automated spam. reCAPTCHA sends Google technical data about the browser and device submitting the form, under Google’s own privacy policy and terms of service.
- Google Analytics 4 measures how the site is used: which pages are viewed, roughly where visitors come from, and whether a visit ends in a form submission or a tap on the phone number. It runs on every page. We do not enable Google Signals, advertising features or cross-site audience building, and Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses. The data is processed by Google under its privacy policy.
- The Unsplash photographers credited in the site footer supplied photographs only; no visitor data goes to them.
Cookies and similar technologies
The site sets a small number of cookies. CallRail sets cookies so that the phone number you see stays consistent across pages and so a call can be matched to the visit that produced it. Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier) that tell repeat visits from the same browser apart; they contain a random identifier, not your name or contact details. Our hosting provider’s page cache may set a cookie to serve pages faster. Google reCAPTCHA sets cookies on pages that carry the inquiry form to distinguish people from automated submissions.
We do not run advertising networks or behavioural advertising on this site, and we do not use analytics features that build a profile of you across other websites.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work; the phone number shown may be the default one rather than a tracking number.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@seawallanddock.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. Deleting your information with us does not remove it from a contractor we have already introduced you to; you would need to ask them as well.
If you no longer want to hear from us after submitting the form, say so in the same email and we will stop.
This site is intended for property owners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes and how to reach us
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the effective date at the top. This version took effect on 17 September 2026.
Questions about this policy go to info@seawallanddock.com or to the phone number shown on this page.
