Licensed Permits handled Florida waterfront

We connect Sebastian owners with licensed marine contractors who design to it.

Free consultation and a written scope.

Alternate plans

A layout that does not fit can go to the Planning and Zoning Commission as an alternate plan.

Permits

The City of Sebastian building department issues the dock permit once state and federal permits, including the Army Corps, are in hand.

Davits and lifts need the same city building permit as the dock.

Why it matters

No live-aboards

Permanent live-aboards are not allowed (LDC 54-2-7.8). Offshore pilings follow the same 20 foot limit as the dock.

A free inspection tells you which one you are looking at.

What a free inspection includes

A contractor comes to your property, looks at the structure above and below the waterline where needed, and tells you what is actually happening.

You get a written scope and estimate. No obligation, no trip fee.

  • On-site assessment of the structure and surrounding soil
  • Photos and a plain-English explanation of the problem
  • Written estimate with scope and materials
  • Repair versus replacement guidance where both are options
