Wooden docks and pilings in front of canal-front homes in Treasure Island at dusk

TREASURE ISLAND, FLORIDA

Dock Repair Treasure Island

Dock repair in Treasure Island needs a city permit unless the only thing being replaced is deck boards.

Licensed Permits handled Florida waterfront

We put Treasure Island owners in touch with licensed marine contractors who handle the permit along with the work.

Free inspection, a written scope, no obligation.

When deck boards are not the whole job

Pilings, stringers or a bigger footprint all bring the job under Sec. 69-51. A rebuilt dock then has to meet today’s rules rather than the ones it was built under.

Those rules cap a dock at 50 feet long including tie poles, and the deck can sit no more than 12 inches above the seawall cap.

A free inspection tells you which one you are looking at.

What a free inspection includes

A contractor comes to your property, looks at the structure above and below the waterline where needed, and tells you what is actually happening.

You get a written scope and estimate. No obligation, no trip fee.

  • On-site assessment of the structure and surrounding soil
  • Photos and a plain-English explanation of the problem
  • Written estimate with scope and materials
  • Repair versus replacement guidance where both are options
